Location: Algarve | Type: Full-Time | Reports to: The Owners

We design and install Smart Home technology, Network Infrastructure, AV, Home Cinema and Security systems across Portugal. Our award-winning business is booming. Our team is growing. But now we need someone on the ground in the Algarve to lead operations, drive commercial performance, and make sure every job gets done to the highest standard. Customer Satisfaction is our key measure of success.

We’re not looking for a clipboard manager. We’re looking for a leader, someone who wants to take ownership of a business unit and help it grow, with clear metrics, structured operations, and a strong, motivated team (also award-winning, multiple times!).

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own the day-to-day. Run operations across sales, admin, technical delivery and customer service in the Algarve
  • Manage the team. Keep Technical, Admin and Business Development Leads aligned, accountable, and performing
  • Drive commercial results. Track and report KPIs across quoting, conversions, technician utilisation, and project profitability
  • Implement systems. Improve quoting processes, job scheduling, cost tracking, and customer follow-up with the owning teams
  • Improve customer experience. Ensure quality delivery and manage key client relationships, holding our teams accountable to high quality standards
  • Forecast and plan. Align capacity with sales pipeline and flag resource needs early. The business is growing rapidly, we need to remain well positioned to meet demand.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience leading small business operations or sales/delivery teams (ideally across service delivery, trade-based, or installation businesses)
  • Strong commercial instincts: you understand margins, pricing, and revenue levers to keep us growing and profitable
  • Confident with systems: CRM, task/project tools, reporting, quoting platforms
  • Comfortable managing people: you know how to lead by example, set expectations, and hold people to them
  • Resourceful, self-directed, and structured: you don’t wait to be told what to do and help others grow
  • Excellent communicator: with technicians, customers, and management team. Fluent spoken English and Portuguese an advantage.
